I think Jonathan Adler's Barbie line will be a big hit around the holidays. The collection includes a special edition JA Barbie doll, candles, throws, bathroom accessories and more. The plates shown here are as far as I'd go—a subtle pink stripe paying homage to the plastic, blonde bombshell—but I'm sure my husband would protest. Buy them at Jonathan Adler.
For serious fans willing to splurge, the Barbie shoes by Christian Louboutin can't be missed. The Claudia style is available in the iconic Pantone 219 pink (shown here) in honor of Barbie's 50th anniversary, but it's also available in cranberry silk, brown metal patent, black leather, silver lamé leather and python. These, I'm sure, would be husband approved. You can also buy some Barbie-esque Louboutin pumps at Saks. And, of course, there is a special edition Louboutin Barbie doll expected to hit stores very soon.
