Current/Elliott The Legging Jean

 

Are denim leggings a do or a don't? The skinniest of skinny jeans, the legging jean by Current/Elliott is definitely a "do" for me. If you follow me on Twitter then you're well aware of my obsession with these jeans. I've been tweeting about them since I tried them on in the Fred Segal dressing room. The second I slipped them on, I fell in love and promptly asked the sales associate if they were available in another color. One pair was not enough, so I bought two: The Legging Jean in Jet Black Overdye and The Cropped Legging with Long Zip in Super Stretch O/D. Why I love them: The denim fabrications are ultra-lightweight and incredibly soft, making them supremely comfortable to the point that I don't want to take them off—I could easily sleep in them. The fit is amazing and very flattering—jean mavens Emily Current and Meritt Elliott are definitely experts in the premium denim market. They were pioneers with The Boyfriend jean and now their interpretation of the denim legging will no doubt be at the top of the trend.
