Currently coveting these cool + retro shades. They cost a pretty penny, but as someone who has lost only one pair of sunglasses ever, I'd be willing to splurge. Bummer that my shopping budget is short about $400. And since I bragged about being such a good sunglasses keeper, I'll probably lose some today. Wish I could say that such an event would provide an excuse for me to buy new ones, but we all know there are plenty of sunglasses in my possession.

New moms are showered with gifts, often including a push gift or baby bauble. My push present was a self-chosen MacBook Pro, so I missed out on the jewels this time around. But when I received a rose gold Matt charm as a gift from Lisa of Lisa Jordan Designs, I finally realized what I've been missing. I'm totally obsessed with this understated symbol of affection for my son. It's simple and chic, making it an everyday piece that I haven't taken off since it arrived. Styles range from simple brushed white gold to diamond encrusted. I love that it comes with additional wrist cords in a variety of colors so I can change it as desired. Griffen Elan Form Chilewich {iPhone Case}

Last-minute holiday shoppers, take note: Chances are you have an iPhone user on your holiday gift list and this uber-stylish case from designer Sandy Chilewich is an excellent gift. PR rep Santa came early and left a sample of this fab product on my doorstep in Dark Gray (a.k.a. Gravel). The Chilewich signature woven-vinyl textile is definitely a different feel from the Topo pattern InCase cover I've been using. At first glance I absolutely prefer the stylish aspect of the Chilewich design. The polycarbonate shell feels sturdy and looks great.

Wool and the Gang {Snood Kit}

 

This has to be the chicest way to knit. The DIY kit on Net-a-Porter contains ethically sourced Peruvian wool, wooden knitting needles, a scarf pattern and two patches (one of which says Knit-a-Porter—clever). The snood kit sells for $85 and is available in fuchsia, violet and grey. And there are also kits for oversized scarves, hats, legwarmers and gloves. Fab gift idea.
